Every other holiday gets recommendations on where to go or special brand collaborations and themed events.

Even for Ching Ming Festival—a day meant for honoring ancestors—they still manage to recommend good restaurants to visit after paying your respects.

Yet, the only holiday that’s supposed to be for men is still all about competing, comparing salaries, and calculating numbers.

I suddenly remembered something Mr. Wong said recently:

Once you’ve been raised by an Asian parents, you need therapy for life.

If the gender could be specified, it would be a bit more accurate.
