Betsu ni Anta no Tame ni Episode 1
This work basically embodies all the issues in one package—motion blur, a voice actress whose tone doesn’t match the female lead’s character (if you’re not familiar, look up Rie Kugimiya—not that she should’ve done the voice, but at least something with that kind of vibe), and the storytelling itself. That said, the first-person perspective from the male protagonist creates a surprisingly strong sense of immersion. I’m not sure why this approach has mostly disappeared nowadays—maybe it’s just the novelty that made it feel refreshing to me.
But I still want to say this: I watched it twice, and there really wasn’t any politically sensitive or illegal content. So why was it censored?
